We provide outsourced technical authoring services to companies who require clear and concise documentation for their products, services, or organisation. In addition we offer advice and help on the setup and use of a number of the more popular software tools for authoring, including a training course on how to setup Word templates.
Documentation is required by you in many forms. We can produce quick start guides, user guides, installation guides, service and maintenance guides, process and procedure documentation, and technical notes.
To produce the high quality documentation you require, we undertake the following tasks: research (reading, interviewing, product use), planning, document design (layout and styles), writing, editing, proofreading, and publication.
Terminology varies greatly from industry to industry. This is no less so in our field where the terms 'technical author', 'technical writer', and 'technical communicator' are used interchangably. 'Information design' is now also in use as an all encompassing term to describe what we technical authors do.

Before retraining as a technical author and subsequently starting T3TC, Tim spent 20 years in the electronics manufacturing industry in a range of roles from Design Engineer to Director of Marketing.
